Global G.A.P.

Global G.A.P. - Good Agricultural Practices

Rapidly growing global prestige, altered nutritional and nutritional needs, disruptions of the ecological balance, the proliferation of new agrarian techniques and methods for making agricultural products ready for production, and some of the problems in providing food that are not harmful to human health. However, in recent years, with the ever-increasing consumer awareness, food security products are beginning to gain greater advantage. Food safety is directly related to the environment, public health and wellbeing of food production enterprises, as it is understood to be non-natural ingredients in nutritional foods, at acceptable or acceptable levels, and to ensure food hygiene. Retailers have come up with a GAP (Good Agricultural Practices-Good Agricultural Practice) approach to insure customers that their products are safe and manufactured by being connected to sustainability. EURO GAP (GLOBAL GAP International Certificate), launched in 1997 as a non-profit activity of the European Retailers Product Study Group (EUREP - Euro-Retailer Produce Working Group), EUROGAP. The Technical and Standards Committee aims to ensure the safety of agricultural products and improve the quality of food on the table, according to the GAP's improved conditions.

The GLOBAL GAP International Certificate, which is a prerequisite for exporting fresh fruits and vegetables to EU countries, is a product tracking warranty provided by EU retailers. The consumer wants to know that any food he receives from the shelf is not a safety hazard and is produced by environmentally friendly activities. The manufacturer or exporter who wants to export to the EU has to prove to the consumer through the retailer that the product meets these obligations. As a result, the GLOBAL GAP Certificate was issued to third-party independent organizations, indicating that the related obligations were met. The GLOBAL GAP International Certificate is a passport for the manufacturer and exporter to deliver products to the EU market. However, these requirements change day by day and the international certification of GLOBAL GAP is required when exporting agricultural products around the world.

The Global GAP International Standard defines the basic security requirements that the consumer requires. The foods that consumers buy:

  • Because microbiological, physical and chemical are not harmful.
  • Because of the damage to the environment and the environment during the production.
  • Because it was produced in accordance with the legislation.
  • They want to make sure that all the necessary measures are taken to ensure the health and safety of the occupants.

Also evaluated as a quality system in the agricultural sector, GLOBAL GAP is a production-oriented system that integrates integrated agrarian principles and implements HACCP and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards for food safety and quality.
